In September 2012, during an average family camping trip, talk went to my parent’s land in Eastern Colorado. They were having trouble finding a reliable farmer and making money.
“So, why not let us farm it?” Victoria and I said.
And Connolly & Daughters Farm was born. We began as complete idiots from the most urban parts of Denver, CO, and now we are slowly on our way to becoming bona-fide country farmers. This blog is about our journey from the city to the farm; our discouragements, discoveries, successes, and failures. We are here to make connections, learn from other farmers in the region and country, and tell our story for those who have dreams of a life at the heart of America.
